Some great point taking by Gavin Byrne, Shane McGrath, Conor McCarney, Con Murphy, Ronan Doyle and a goal from Jordan Kane gave Clonmore a 1-10 to 0-7 lead at the break. Shamrocks came back strongly in the second half to tie up the scores at 1-11 each but some great points by Owen Coleman, Con Murphy and a superb 45′ from PJ Byrne gave Clonmore a 2 point win.
