After many months of discussion, Greenfields Golf Society finally lifted-off on June 17th.
This first outing took place at Connemara Golf Links, Ballyconneely on a fresh Friday evening.
Despite threatening clouds, & a strong sea breeze, the rain held off, & the delighted golfers enjoyed the challenges & the scenic splendour of this championship course.
A celebratory dinner followed in the plush surroundings of the Boyce Mobile Home at Aillebrack. Spectacular views of the Twelve Pins & the wild Atlantic added to the occasion. The party continued into the early hours – the Greenfields Golf Society is here to stay!
