Last Friday was one of the greats for the Club! Our big fundraiser for the year was held at Harolds Cross Dog track. There was over 300 people there to support the club on the night itself- from our youngest to eldest members! Great craic was had on the night- with even the kids placing bets with their pocket money and enjoying cheering on their favourite dogs! A fantastic night had by all, with a lively session back at the club house to conclude the night! Liffey Gaels would like to thank Harolds Cross for looking after the club on the night and also to Dublin bus for transport to and from the grounds. We would also like to thanks the parents, players, mentors and friends for helping the club. Words from our chairman Wayne Cleary- ‘It was a great night for the club and I would like to thanks everybody for coming to Harolds Cross and for all the help I got from everybody in the club- when we pull together, we can do anything- thanks again!’
Our Buster Draw was held on the night, and we would like to congratulate Emer Ni Cheallagh on the winning combination of 3-2-4-6-1-5. Also the €2 draw (tickets which the juvenile section sold) took place back at the club house. We had lots of winners in this draw and all results can be found at the club.
