Hazzard Welcomes Reprieve for Burrenreagh Primary

November 7, 2018

The consultation process which began back in March, marked the beginning of what many viewed as the road to closure for the small rural school.

Following months of engagements with sector bodies including CCMS Representatives, Mr Hazzard said he was delighted for the school to have received such promising news.

‘The staff & pupils of St.Patrick’s Burrenreagh will be glad that this process has come to an end. Indeed this news is quite timely given the imminent school term. I hope that Burrenreagh will continue to prosper in the term and years ahead and I very much look forward to supporting them along their journey.’
