February 10th:
Greenfields 1sts  1 – 0  Galway 1sts
(Dora Gorman)
Greenfields 1sts have earned their place in the Connacht Senior Cup semi-final.
In a tense match, played in near freezing conditions on Thursday last, Greenfields fought off the efforts of feisty Galway team.  Scoring after 20 minutes, they played tirelessly till the final whistle, & will play either Yeats or Athlone in the semi-final.

February 7th:

Greenfields 3rds   1 – 6   Galway 3rds

(Aislinn Hanahoe)
Greenfields 3rds struggled to compete against a very experienced Galway side.  After a promising start by Greenfields, Galway took control of the game, which was reflected in the half-time score of six-nil.  Greenfields put in a spirited 2nd half performance, & finally got on the score-board with a late goal from Aislinn hanahoe.

Greenfields U14’s V’s North Kildare

Greenfields U14’s under the management of Clare Boyce, travelled to North Kildare to compete in an invitational blitz.
Each squad played several matches in what was a very enjoyable tournament.
