Our Seniors were on the pitch against rivals Galway I, in their second league match of the season.
In a tight affair, with both teams claiming equal amounts of possession, Greenfields put away a goal one minute before half-time.
With numerous scoring chances in the second half, Greenfields failed to capitalise on them, & Galway’s equaliser came 13 minutes into the half. A series of short corners against us added to the drama, with Galway scoring a further two goals.
