Moylagh were left to rue some defensive mistakes as Kildalky scored four soft goals to send Moylagh out of the championship. In a game tighter than the score line suggests Moylagh were always playing catch up and needed two fine goals from placed balls from the outstanding Barry Smith to keep them in contention. Moylagh pulled to within four points of Kildalky ten minutes into the second half but conceded two late goals as Kildalky pulled away to top the group and send Moylagh crashing out.
