Greenfields 0 – 2 Ulster Elks
Hard luck to the Senior team, who made another long journey north, to play Ulster Elks in Round Three of the IHL. Elks are Intervarsity Champions and currently lie in 2nd place in the Ulster Premier League. With 2 Irish senior Internationals Meghan Frazer & Shirley McCay, as well as a number of Canadian internationals on their squad a tough outing was to be expected.
Greenfields put on a great team performance with Sinead Collins as always superb in goals! They were unlucky not to come away with a bonus losing point.
Following a busy 3 months on the road, they now look forward to their remaining 2 games of the competition at home after Christmas .
