With our Junior team drawing on Saturday and the Minor final being postponed due to a bereavement in the Sarsfield club, the weekend ended with nothing more concluded than when it started. The end result is that the season is now certain to last another fortnight. Should the Juniors progress all the way to the final, their season will extend to the end of November at least. The replay of the Junior game has been fixed for next Sunday at 11am in Turloughmore. The early start is to void a clash with the double header in Athenry at 1pm, which includes the Senior semi-final replay (Gort/St Thomas’s) and the Intermediate final (Ahascragh/Fohenagh and Athenry). Hopefully, Mágh Cuilinn can re-create the first 20 minutes of last weekend throughout the game and take the club forward to the semi-final stage.
