Intel employees brighten up the club dressing rooms

November 7, 2018

Some members of the Intel Ireland R2S team left the comfort of their offices and came to the Irish countryside to the village of Ballivor where Gerry Molloy (Intel employee) resides and is an active (though non-playing) member of the local Gaelic Football Club. The current facilities at the club have been in place since 1975 and were crying out for some TLC. The group assembled at the site and set about brightening up the dressing rooms with 2 coats of white paint. The difference was phenomenal and brightened up the dressing rooms. Everyone got stuck in and spent more than 2.5 hours at the clubhouse – with Gerry playing a noticeable Project Manager role, directing events. Most of the paint made it onto the walls, though some T-shirts & Jeans were redesigned with white splatters. Some refreshments of sandwiches and soft drinks were brought to the club and enjoyed by all. It was a very enjoyable event, and very much appreciated by the club chairman and mentors.
