When Kevin McCarney finished a pass from the outstanding Shane McGrath to the net to put us 2-9 to 2-1 up on 45 mins, it looked like game over, but we immediately gifted Ballinabranna a goal and then conceded a number of unnecessary frees to give them hope. With all the momentum in B’branna’s favour, they drew level on full-time and kicked the winner in injury time. Inspite of this disappointing result, it is still possible for Clonmore to qualify for a quarter final place if we win against Asca and other results go our way.
