Brosna Gaels 0–13 St Rtnaghs 0–7.
Brosna Gaels drawn from Ballycumber, Erin Rovers, Doon and Tubber made a quick return to senior hurling with a fully deserved victory over St Rynaghs. Played in terrible conditions in O’Connor Park today the Banagher men were first out of the blocks and had three points on the board before the’Gaels’ started to play. Gradually the points started to come at the other end of the pitch .The second half was dominated by the fitter and faster ‘Gaels’ and they ran out convincing winners. Ballycumber players who played were Conor Robbins, Karl Daly, Chris McDonald, Sean Hackett, Fergal Daly, Eamonn McCabe, John Egan and Glen Halligan with Manager Ciaran McDonald.
