Intermediates lost out to Rahoon in the first round of this years championship in a game played in Pearse Stadium on Wednesday night. Annaghdown started well and led by three points early in the first half, largley due to a Mathias Coleman goal but our lads trailed by three at the break. In the second period despite playing against a stiff breeze Annaghdown managed to keep the lads from the West of the Corrib quite and only trailed by a single point before Rahoon sealed the issue with a rather fortunous goal three minutes from time.
