Intermediate Hurling League Ballygarvan 1-11 Dripsey 0-14

Sunday 26th April in Dripsey @3.30pm

Ballygarvan played out a draw with Dripsey in the intermediate League game at Dripsey. With some surperb goalkeeping from Peter Murphy and with Ballygarvan having only registered four first half points .The winning of the game looked out of reach at half time with a score line of 0-10 to 0-4 in favour of Dripsey.  Ballygarvan management kept faith with their line out making only one change at half time which saw Wm O Hallaron replacing Liam Dillion.Ballygarvan were a totally different outfit in the second half and hit three quick points without reply. The half back line , with Stephen White  Derry & Ciaran O’Sullivan and the hard working Mattew O’Riordan in mid field pumped plenty of ball into the forward line. Following a Gary White goal ,Ballygarvan found themself in contol of this game. Mark Kennefick struck over another point which put Ballygavan into a one point lead with two minutes remamining on the clock. A contoversal late free handed Dripsey the Draw.   This game was the ideal preperation for Ballygarvans intermediate championship game against Kilbrittan next week end.
