The Intermediates continued their build up to the new season with a good win against Miltown, Co Kildare, on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-7, last Friday evening. Hard luck to the Clonmore contingent (players Anthony & Andrew Byrne, and Selector, Paul Byrne) who were involved with the Carlow U-21 team that lost 5-12 to 3-13 to Wicklow in the Leinster U-21 Championship last Wednesday night. The Carlow lads came up just short on the night but can be proud of themselves for a very gutsy performance.
19/2/16: Intermediate Practice Match: Clonmore 2-5 Dunlavin 0-9
The Intermediates blew out some of the winter cobwebs with a useful workout against Dunlavin on Friday evening. The team put in a lively performance to record a winning start to the tenure of the new management team of John McCormack, Joey Hayden, Paul Byrne and John Byrne, on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0-9.
