Interprovincial Fever this weekend!

The Connacht U21 squad steps onto the pitch at Three Rock Rovers, Dublin, on Sat 18th & Sun. 19th April.
(The original tournament, scheduled for February last, was cancelled due to adverse weather.)
Coach Bryan Madden, & Manager Paul McGettigan, are in a confident mood, with their squad of 18 consisting of no less than eight players who have played at International level.  Greenfields are strongly represented also, with seven players making the squad : Áine Collins (Vice Capt), Katie Codyre, Brenda Flannery, Dora Gorman, Aisling Keaveney, Mary Healy & Neasa McGettigan.

Meanwhile, Connacht’s Junior Squad travel further afield, seven miles north of Belfast, to the University of Ulster Jordanstown. The Junior Tournament is also being held on Sat 18th & Sun 19th April.  Coach Owen O’Leary, along with Manager Carol McKeon are hoping for a successful tournament following an intensive training programme.  Five players from Greenfields have been selected for this squad : Barbara Cunningham, Olive Healy, Catherine Moore, Liz Tighe & Alma Whelan.
