J.H.L Div.3

November 8, 2018

On Tuesday night our third hurling team had a good win over neighbours Castlelyons in the East Cork Junior Hurling League Division 3. This team had been defeated by Aghada in the first game of the League the previous week. Away to Castlelyons on Tuesday night with a team fielding ten under 21 players, this was a good result. With no referee present Kieran McGann took over the duties with the whistle thus ensuring the game went ahead as planned. Alan O’Keeffe took some paint off the crossbar with a rasper early on. The first half saw 15 points shared and at the break we led by 0-8 to 0-7. Second half points from Stephen Boyce and Alan O’Keeffe put us in the driving seat. In the end we won by 2-10 to 0-11.
