Corinthians overcame their local rivals Galwegians in a hotly contested J2 league game on Sunday. They ran out 18 – 10 winners, with tries from Niall O Shea, Dash Barbour and Daragh Murphy in the 1st half when Corinthians played into a very strong wind. They looked to be very much in control at the half time turn around, but Galwegians had other ideas! Corinthians did not play with the same intensity in the 2nd half and coupled with a raft of injuries very much let Wegians back into the game! They ran the ball from everywhere and were unlucky to not have scored more than 1 try. Corinthians eventually woke up and Barry O Dea kicked a penalty to secure the victory.
