Urhan went down yesterday at home to St. Mary’s.
The visitors had the wind in the second half and made it count from the off. They dominated possession, getting on top in a few areas, and pressing forward at every opportunity. They were already well back in the game when a well-worked goal put them into the lead for the first time with ten minutes to go. Urhan levelled with an excellent Kieran Lehane point, fell behind to a Mary’s point, and levelled again with only a few minutes remaining.
It was a fitter and more fluid St. Mary’s who got the crucial breaks from there on, however, and converted two frees and a further effort from play to deservedly win by a goal.
The result leaves Urhan mid-table after two games with a win, a loss, and a zero points difference. Next up is St. Colums away on the 10th April.
Subs: Kieran Lehane for Vinny Lehane (inj.), David McCarthy for Ciarán O’ Sullivan (inj.), Kieran O’ Neill for Martin O’ Neill, Donal Shea for PJ Cadogan.
