Urhan maintained their interest in this year’s Beara League Competition when they came from behind to beat Bere Island on Sunday in Páirc na hAoraí.
Playing against the wind in the first half, Urhan trailed 2-02 to 1-06 at the break, perhaps fortunate to be so close. A second Bere Island goal at the restart made the job harder but, with the wind at their backs, Urhan controlled affairs thereafter.
The result leaves all three competing teams on two points. The Beara Board will now advise as to how the team will separated.
