Our Junior Hurlers played Ballingarry in their final group game last Saturday evening in Killenaule. This was a must win game for both teams as the winner would go straight through to the Semi Final. The first half was a cagey affair and although we went into a 6 point lead at 1 stage, Ballingarry came back into the game at the end of the half to leave the half time score 8 points to 5 to us at half time. The second half was score for score and although Ballingarry got a goal near the end it wasn’t enough for them as we won on a scoreline of 0-16 to 1-9. We now go through to the semi-final which will be played in the first week or two of September. The team on the night was: John Moroney, Paddy Moroney, Nicky Kearney, Liam Brett, Paul Horan, Cathal Mahoney, Ciaran Mockler, Aidan Buckley, Brendan Gleeson, Mark Mullally, Richie Needham, Conor Duggan, Tony O'Brien, Robbie Meagher, Shane Gorey, Brian McCormack, Aaron Cronin, Kieran Clancy, Jamie Broderick, Eoin Ryan, Michael Boland, James Fitzgerald.

We will have further Junior B hurling games against Marlfield, St. Marys, Cahir, Moyle Rovers and Clerihan.
