It was a busy week with our Junior A and B hurlers both in action. First up was our Junior A's who played Kilsheelan in the semi final of the County League last Thursday night in Cloneen. After a great start to the game Kilsheelan took control of the game and hit us for 3 goals which gave them an 11-point lead at half time, 3-9 to 1-4. To our lad’s credit they never gave up and almost pulled off a victory but ultimately, they gave themselves too much to do and Kilsheelan won on a scoreline of 3-16 to 2-15. Next up was our Junior Bs who played Mullinahone last Sunday in Killenaule. The game was a tight affair throughout but unfortunately Mullinahone won in the end on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-10.
