Edenderry junior hurlers were beaten on Friday night by a controversial late goal which resigned them to their third straight defeat.
Played under lights in Tullamore, Edenderry hurled well and led throughout the game, the goal coming from Martin Keogh, but luck deserted them in closing stages and they were beaten by two points in the end.
The reds are still awaiting their first points of the season but if they continue to work hard and show the same commitment, they won’t have to wait long more.
