Our Junior Hurlers were back in action in the County League last Wednesday in Ballyporeen against Skeheenarinky. We led the game from the start and ran out easy winners on a scoreline of 3-19 to 0-9. The team on the night was : John Moroney, Michael Boland, Nicky Kearney, Kieran Clancy, Conor Duggan, Paul Horan, Ciarán Mockler, Nigel Cleere, Joey Noonan, Aaron, Cronin, Robbie Meagher, Robbie McCormack, Jamie Broderick, Brian McCormack, Aidan Buckley, Cameron Moynihan, Conor Gorey, Shane Gorey James Fitzgerald, Brendan Gleeson, Paddy Moroney, Tony O Brien, Cathal Mahony.
We were due to play Fr Sheehys last Friday night in the second round of the Championship but they couldn't field and we received a walkover. We also received a walkover from Solohead in the County Football League and as a result we are now in the Semi Final of the County League.
Another busy week ahead for our Junior players in both Hurling and Football. Our Junior Footballers are first up in action on Friday night when they take on Ardfinnan in the first round of the South Championship. This takes place in Ned Hall Park at 7:45.
Our Junior Hurlers are then out Saturday night in the County league when they take on Boherlahan in Boherlahan at 7:30
