The 2009/2010 Junior Interpros will take place at Garryduff Sports Centre, Cork City, on Saturday & Sunday March 13th & 14th. The competition features a round-robin tournament between selected teams from Ulster, Munster, Leinster, Connacht & South East.
It has a long & proud history, with the claim of being the oldest hockey tournament in the world, with roots stretching back to the 19th century!
The Connacht squad, under the guidance of Coach Eoin O’Leary & Manager Carol McKeon have prepared well for the tournament, & are hoping to do their province proud. Of the squad of 18, five players represent Greenfields.
