Bride Rovers 2-4 Glenville 3-10
On Monday night we played Glenville at home in the football league semi-final. Glenville proved to be the stronger team on the night but our lads can be proud of their performance. Dylan played well in goal as did our defenders Jordan Service, Brian, John Dj and Adam. Even though they were under constant pressure from Glenville they showed great determination in stopping as many attacks as they could. Leon Griffin
Glenville pushed forward again scoring 2 pts then Jessie pointed a free. Glenville were awarded a penalty which they drove over the bar. Patrick and Dean were introduced and both played well Patrick scoring 2 pts from frees. Shane O’Flynn was moved from the backs to the forwards and scored a goal and was unlucky not to get a second. Glenville finished the game with another 2 pts on the scoreboard.
