Juvenile Club Round-Up

November 8, 2018

Bride Rovers Juvenile GAA Club
Cul Camp 2009
The annual VHI sponsored Cul Camp took place in the club last week with 56 boys taking part. Despite the poor weather on two afternoons, all participants enjoyed the camp. The benefits of the week could be seen in the games played on the last day – the first touch of a lot of the players and the improvement in their ability to read the game was evident to many of the on-lookers.
Well done to the organisers for yet another successful camp, and thank you to the coaches present over the week. A special thanks also to the members of the senior team who came along at various stages to lend a hand and encourage the boys, and to Patrick Horgan of the Glen Rovers club, who together with Barry Johnson and Michael Collins signed autographs and answered the tough questions from the Bride Rovers youths on the final day of the camp.
Fund Raising
A car wash is taking place every Saturday in the car park of the Rathcormac Inn for the next few weeks from 10am to 2pm to raise money for the Juvenile club. The cost is €5 per car, please come along and support the club.
Best Wishes
Best wishes to the Bride Rovers senior hurlers who play CIT in the next round of the senior hurling championship this weekend.
The club would like to express sincere sympathy to the Pratt family of Rathcormac, and the Barry family of Bartlemy, on their recent bereavements.
