U8’s Play St. Catherines in Hurling

On Saturday 23rd St Catherines U8’s came to Rathcormac for a hurling challenge game. Despite the torrential rain for the 2 hours preceding the game, both clubs had in excess of 25 players with plenty of supporters to encourage their teams. We played two matches, with all players getting a game. The older boys from Bride Rovers were much stronger than the equivalent team from St Catherines, but the game between the younger groups was a much more competitive and closer affair. Well done to all the children who played on the day and thanks to their parents for bringing them out on such a bad morning.

Football training for the U8’s is on every Monday night from 7pm to 8pm in Pynes field, with hurling training on Friday nights at 7pm to 8pm now also in Pynes.

New players welcome.
