Juvenile GAA.

Premier games.
Our U/12A hurlers travelled to Semple Stadium Thurles last Friday evening to play in ‘The Premier 12s Hurling End Games’.  Our first game was against South Tipperary Champions Ballingarry in the Quarter-Finals.  The boys were on top right through the first half leading five points to one at the break. Our points coming from team captain Kieran Breen, Eoin McCormack and Zack O`Halloran. Ballingarry came back into the game with two goals to put us two points down. A great goal by Zack and a few points from frees put us back in the driving seat to win 1-08 to 2-01.
Our second match was the Semi-Finals against Kilruane MacDonaghs. The lads played very well against this strong Kilruane team but were unlucky for scores on a few occasions, losing  1-01 to 1-07 . They did the club proud in Semple Stadium, well done to the team and mentors.
Team:- Kieran Breen capt, Turlough Breen, Mark Compton, Shane Farrell, Kevin Fitzgerald, Mark Furlong, Joe Griffey ,Eoin McCormack, Gavin McCormack, Conor O`Dwyer, Zack O`Halloran, Gerard O`Dwyer, Brendan Ryan, Ciaran Ryan. Mentors: Tony Farrell, Niall Griffey, Michael Heelan, Damien McGrath.
