SYMPATHIES.
The death occurred on Thursday last of Richard (Richie) Horgan of Hillside Knockavilla after a long illness bravely borne. Richie had a long involvement with his
beloved Kickham GAA and camogie clubs, serving as a selector manager and officer on a number of occasions during the years. His love for all things gaelic were
passed on to his children who represented the club at all grades in hurling, football and camogie., some went on to wear the County jersey with distinction and
achieved great succes. As a mark of respect to Richie and the Horgan family Pairc Ui Ciocaim was closed on Friday and Saturday and the club provided a guard of
honour as his remains were carried from his home to Knockavilla church on Saturday morning. We offer our deepest sympathies to his heartbroken wife Breda and
family on their sad loss. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

There have been a number of other deaths in the Parish in recent times and we offer our sympathies and condolences to all who were bereaved. May the souls of the
faithfully departed rest in peace.

As in previous years, we are appealing for collectors for the day. We really do need more helpers. A little time goes a long way! Funds are needed now more than ever
to continue the marvellous work undertaken by the hospice teams.
We also need a supply of daffodils this year so all donations would be much appreciated.
