U16(B) Hurling

Our (U) 16 Hurlers played North reps Ballina the Co.Final in Borrisoleigh on Saturday last. The lads tried their very best but were beaten on the day by a very strong Ballina team. It was a great achievement by our very young team to get this far and we thank them and their selectors for their efforts.

KNOCKAVILLA COMMUNITY COUNCIL
Now that the work in the church is complete, the refurbishment work in the Community hall can commence. This week will see the start of the installation of the new heating system. After this is done we will have to carry out some cosmetic work on the interior of the hall which would consist of some plastering, carpentry and electrical. If anyone would be available to help with these
projects we would be grateful if they could contact Kieran Slattery, or any Council member.
