13th Aug West Junior B hurling Kickhams v Arravale Rovers in Golden @ 7 O’Clock
Senior Hurling.
We played Clonoulty/Rossmore in an exciting west semi final on Sunday evening, The teams were very evenly matched with scores level at half time, full time, half time in extra time before Clonoulty finished 2.22 to 1.21 ahead at the end of extra time. Hard luck to our boys they played well.
Minor Hurling.
We played arravale rovers in the west semi final last tues night we got a great start to game but unfortunatly couldn’t keep it up for whole game final score Kickhams 2.07 Arravale Rovers 1.12, we wish Arravale the best of luck in the final.
Cul Camp
We had our cul camp last week great numbers of boys and girls were in attendance for a week of activities, thanks to everyone who helped out organising, coaches, helpers etc and of course parents for bringing the boya & girls along everyday.
Golf Classic
Knockavilla/Donaskeigh Kickhams will hold their annual Golf classic in The Co Tipperary Golf and Country Club at Dundrum House Hotel on Thursday the 19th and Friday the 20th of August. Team of four 200 euro which includes a round of golf and a meal. This years prizes which include golf equipment and green fees to prestigious courses are worth 2,500 euro. If you are unable to play, you might like to sponsor a tee box for 50 euro and your name will be displayed for the two days. 75th Anniversary
This year the club celebrates its 75th anniversary and a 75 kilometre cycle has been organised for the 25th September – anybody interested in participating or sponsoring a cyclist please contact Paddy Fitzgerald (087 9370958). Training is in progress for our cyclist and going well.

It’s the easiest way for you to support your club at absolutely no extra cost to you. All Vodafone customers can sign up to this scheme and Vodafone will donate 5% of your pay monthly or top up bill to the Kickham club who are a recognised club on their web page. If you are not a customer and you wish to make the switch to Vodafone it will mean even more money for the club.
