Juvenile hurling training continues in Kiltormer every Sunday morning at 12 noon, all new players are most welcome.
The senior team fell to a heavy defeat on Sunday last, when they were outclassed by current All-Ireland Club Champions Portumna. Kiltormer started brightly and dominated the early exchanges, but the sheer class of the Portumna forward division soon had a superior grip on the game. Goals from Damien Hayes and Joe Canning put Portumna out of sight and despite some stern resistance from Dermot Kelly it was a disappointing day for the Kiltormer faithful.
