La Na gClub

On the 10th of May we will be holding a family day “Lá na gClub” to mark 125 years of the GAA in Rathbeg. We will also be officially opening all our new developments which include dressing rooms, 2 new pitches, floodlights, scoreboard, press box and car park. This day is open to everybody in our community and we would be delighted if you would join us for the opening ceremony, the dedication of the new car park to the late Joe Reen and the blessing of all our facilities.

The celebrations of Lá na gClub will begin with underage and senior blitzes for both boys and girls from 2.00 p.m. onwards. There be will face painting and other entertainment for the children during the course of the day and a special lotto draw will be held at 6.00 p.m. to mark the occasion. The opening ceremony will be performed at 5.00 p.m. followed by local music and light refreshments.
