U16 Football

B R 1-7 Douglas 4-4

Our u16 girls were beaten by Douglas in the quarter final of the county on Wed nightelast by 6pts .Playing against the wind and the sun in their eyes the girls kept with Douglas until half time .On the resumption the referee completely favoured Douglas giving them a penalty within 5 mins and ignoring all the physical play for the remainder of the game.Credit to our girls they battled throughout and were beaten by 6pts in the end

U15 Camogie

Briderovers 2-5 Killeagh 1-3

Our u15 girls played Killeagh in the Imokily league on Sat last and came away with an unexpected win.Without the service of our goalie Rebecca and Aine who were away with the scouts ,the girls had the game lost before they even started. However credit to Katie Connor who willingly went between the posts and what a stormer she had there saving us on numerous occasions and delivering great puck outs.It was a twelve a side game with subs been able to come on and off as often as you like so we used all 13 player right throughout .It was one of those games where every player played their heart out .We must still play Youghal and Dungourney in this
