As the playing fields remain quiet at this time of year our attention turns to the Social aspect of the club. On Sat night the 20th February our victorious junior team are holding a social in The Vienna Woods Hotel.Theese girls won County and East Cork titles in 2009 and will be receiving their medals on the night. Tickets are priced at 25 euro each and can be got from Bridget Forde or any club member. Hope we will see plenty of support on the night for the girls.
We are still looking for parents to help out with the u8 girls this coming year .A few of the Junior girls are willing to help out with the training but we still need parents as well .If anyone out there has a daughter u8 this year and is willing to help out please contact Imelda our secretary on 086 3011288.
The Cork U14 School of excellence is running at the moment and in a week or two the selectors will be picking a panel for the Cork u14 team for 2010 and the u13 development team also so we wish all our players the best of luck.
On Sat next trials for the 2010 Cork u16 team begin at 11 o clock in Ballincollig any girls interested contact Betty.
