Sarsfields 5-06 Shane O’Neill’s 10- 13
This was the ladies first league game and sadly they had to play eleven a side which didn’t allow Sarsfields to play at full strength. The girls played well given the circumstances and fought well particularly the second half. Brenda Shanks was in good form in goals and kept a few chances out. Dearbhla Campbell scored the Highmoss opening a goal, further scores coming from Andrea McAlinden, Niamh McGeown, Claire Gallagher, Ciara Robinson and Colleen Murray.
