The second round league game was played on Sunday past away against Latten Cullen. The Patrick’s Ladies led the whole way through the first half aided by the wind and after 30 minutes led 1.6 to 1.1. The game then settled, however the St. Patrick’s girls did not get another score until the 22nd minute of the second half which was a well taken effort by wing back Rebecca Hayden. St. Patrick’s then managed to notch up a further three points before the end whistle and were unlucky not to get a goal minutes from the end, however they where unable to close the gap which left the final score: St. Patrick’s 1.10 to Latten Cullen 2.9.
