Congratulations to the Dublin Ladies Senior A team on qualifying for the TG4 All-Ireland semi-final. Dublin’s opponents will be Monaghan while Cork will play Mayo in the second semi-final. The Dublin v Monaghan game will take place on Saturday 5th September at 6pm, most likely in  Breffni Park, Cavan. Cliodhna O Connor was rightly chosen as Player of the Match against Kerry as her crucial saves and fine overall goalkeeping display kept the Kingdom at bay. There were also fine displays from Siobhan McGrath, Amy McGuinness, Colleen Barrett and Sinead Aherne.

The Senior B’s fine  run in the Aisling McGing Cup final came to an end at Thurles on Saturday last when they were outplayed by the defending champions, Cork. Congratulations to them on achieving three in a row in the tournament. Goalkeeper, Deirdre Kelleher, St. Olaf’s had an outstanding game in goals despite the defeat.

Congratulations to all of the u12 girls’ squad who represented Dublin in the Leinster blitz held in Carlow last Saturday and brought home a trophy in the process.

All clubs will have received their ticket vouchers for TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football final. These vouchers guarantee each club six tickets. Extra tickets may be ordered using the vouchers. The tickets will be issued by Central Council and not the Dublin Ladies Board. Contact Maire at Croke Park on 8363156 for further details.
