Our Senior team scored defeated Eire Og in the Cusack Cup at the weekend on a score of 0-9 to 1-4. This made it three wins in a row in that competition, having already defeated Shannon Gaels and Liscannor. This was a game that our boys should have won comfortably as they enjoyed a major share of the possesion. The score at half time was 0-6 to 0-2. During the second half we missed several easy scoring opportunities including at least 3 clearcut goal chances but we faile to put Eire Og away. When the Ennis boys scored a goal near the end there was only 1 point between the sides and a draw looked likely. Don Garry however scored a point with the last kick giving our boys a 2 point victory.

It was good to see Joe Considine back after injury, however, on a worring note Mark Tubridy broke his hand during the game at will be out for up to 3 months.
Our under 16 team went down to a very strong Eire side on Monday. Our boys held their own in the first half and played some nice football but the strength of Eire Og told in the second half and they ran out easy winners. Most of our team are young and will be still under age next year.
Our Lotto Jackpot will be €15200 for next Monday with the draw taking place in O’Keefes.
