Seniors lost their league game to Barna on Saturday evening by a point, injuries making for selection headaches etc. Gerry, Tadhg and Padriag are re-focusing minds on Connacht c/ship which is scheduled  for Sun 11th

Hard luck to Junior hurlers, the last remaining B side in Junior 1 championship who lost to Skehana A on Sunday………….. we could have had 2 codes at Connacht, that would have been great.

Intermediates went all way to Gort Sunday in vain as Sth Gaels failed to field, conceding match.
U9 camogiers fell foul of poor pitch conditions in Ballyloughane after rain all week. Their city league final was switched to Carnmore and the opposition benefited from home-side advantage.
U12 footballers won the U13B county league [west] in glorious sunshine on Sunday, Fionn Murphy was captain.

Karina O’Grady in aras thanks all for filling the cash for clobber bags and CAMOGIE section of Club thank all for the 26 tables of ‘genuises’ who came to quiz in Sheridans last Wednesday night.
Cathal McGinley & Maurice Sheridan gave masterclasses on goalkeeping & free-taking to juvenile footballers on Saturday afternoon. Many thanks to them for giving up their time.

The Frank Fox Cup & a varied assortment of senior squad players has a busy schedule this week, taking in Scoil Fhursa, St John  apostle & Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh on Tues, Scoil Iognaid on Friday and the paeds and medical wards in Hospital on Thursday. It will get to nursery on Monday pm & a guest appearance is expected at u10 Milanos party on Tues pm [top secret…say nothing].
Any/all coaches at these schools are most welcome to attend, the schedule will be posted on facebook, or email back for approx time.Same applies for those in UCHG and then Senior mgt have put embargo on Club related guest appearances after this………..the cup can go anywhere BUT the squad are training, resting, training, resting, training etc etc All going well after the w/end of 11th, and the panel can re-appear again! If you want the Cup after this week, for photos [to annoy your in-laws from Killererin, Tuam, Corofin etc] or whatever, get your director : [Brendan McBrien, Brian Muldoon, Mike Ward, Peter O’halloran or Gerry Halloran] to make arrangements.
