Launch of 5 Year Plan

November 8, 2018

On Saturday, 12 April, Clonmore GFC launched its Five Year Plan in the splendid new Sports Hall in Hacketstown National School. MC for the night was Club President, Eddie Forde, and speakers were Chairman, James Doyle, Leinster Council rep, John Byrne and Leinster Vice-Chairman, Jim Bolger. Plan Coordinator Ger Doyle gave a PowerPoint presentation outlining the main points of the Plan. James Doyle said that the Plan is an ambitious one but he emphasised that the Executive Committee is committed to making it a success. He thanked everyone involved in putting together the Plan and in organising the Open Forum and Launch Nights. The Plan was formally launched by Jim Bolger and a presentation was made to Jim to mark his recent election to the prestigious position of Vice-Chairman of Leinster GAA. Once the formalities were out of the way, the attendance of about 60, which included Carlow GAA President, Paudie Doyle, and Secretary, Ger Lennon, enjoyed some good banter over refreshments.

The club would like to thank Gabriel Keane, Principal, for the use of the Sports Hall at Hacketstown National School and Trish & Dermot Byrne of the Chip Shop for their generous sponsorship of the hot food on the night.
