LIMERICK FC LAUNCH LOTTO AS PREPARATIONS CONTINUE FOR PROMOTION

With the new season just over a month away, Limerick FC launched a
series of fundraising initiatives at the Limerick Strand Hotel on Thursday
11th February. FAI Technical Director Packie Bonner joined Mayor of
Limerick, Cllr Kevin Kiely, Limerick FC Chairman, Pat O’Sullivan, First Team
Assistant Manager Declan Farmer, First Team Coach Mick Shiel and Conor Brett of
Ticketscan Limited Limerick FC lotto sponsors to announce details of the new
club lotto scheme in association with www.locallotto.ie and the upcoming
Limerick FC Greyhound fundraiser on February 27th at the Markets
Field.
Speaking at the launch, Pat O’Sullivan, Chairman, Limerick FC called
on Limerick’s sporting community to get behind the team for the new season,
saying, “As a club we want to appeal to the entire mid-west sporting community
to embrace what Limerick FC stands for – a community focused club for all to
enjoy. We have a squad packed full of talented local players who are completely
committed to putting the name Limerick FC back in the national spotlight where
it belongs. Pat Scully and a squad of 38 are back training for the last month
and have made no secret that their sights are fully set on gaining promotion to
the Premier Division. But success on the field and success off the field go
hand in hand so that is why our year-long fundraising initiatives are so
important in supporting the on field ambition. The new lotto scheme will allow
the everyday fan to support the club at a very reasonable cost throughout the
year with the incentive of a €1,000 minimum jackpot for those who match the 4
numbers correctly. Limerick FC are currently looking for lotto sellers on a
commision basis all over the mid-west for details contact 061324563 or email info@limerickfc.ie Additionally, our
upcoming Greyhound fundraiser in the Markets Field will allow us to showcase the
club to another sporting fraternity in what, all going well, will be our
permanent home in the not too distant future.
On the corporate side we are actively seeking sponsorship at all
levels from jersey sponsorship to match day sponsorships to side-line signage
and much more.
Speaking at the launch, Packie Bonner, FAI Technical Director, added
his support to the work being carried out by the club.

clubs www.locallotto.ie pages and select 4 numbers
from 1 to 36. The cost is just €2 per week and you can sign up from as little
as 10 weeks to the full year. Anybody who matches the four numbers drawn each
week wins or shares in the Jackpot which will have a minimum of €1,000
guaranteed. If there is no Jackpot winner on the night, there will be 4 tickets
drawn at random for €25 each. Tickets cost €2·00 each.
The Limerick FC Greyhound Buster will take place at the Markets Field
on Saturday February 27th and tickets are currently available for €20
