Under 21 Hurling: Lorrha 1-15 Nenagh Eire Og 3-5
Lorrha got their Under 21 campaign off to the best possible start with a good win over Nenagh Eire Og in a wintry Cloughjordan on Sunday evening.
While playing nowhere near our best, we did manage to take a 0-9 to 1-2 half time lead. Despite playing with fourteen men for much of the second half, we kept our noses ahead and a goal from Conor Sullivan helped create a cushion we were able to hold onto to the finish.
Team: Willie Maher; Ciaran Duggan, Garrett O’Meara, Andrew Hoctor; Graham Houlihan, Kevin Maher (0-1), Brendan Fogarty; Ciaran Haugh, Patrick Maher (0-3); Cian Hogan (0-1), John Lambe (0-1), Jack Maher (0-1 free); Willie Hough (0-2), Conor Sullivan (1-1), Sean Cleary (0-5, 4 frees).
