Intermediate: Lorrha will take on Clonlara of Clare in the semi-final of the Munster Intermediate Championship on Sunday afternoon next at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh at 2pm. We wish the panel and players the best of luck as we aim to make the Munster Final.
We also look forward to seeing the Lorrha supporters there in big numbers once again.

Under 21: Lorrha 1-12 Templederry 1-12
Lorrha came from five points down going injury time to force a draw in a very exciting North Tipp Under 21 B Hurling Final played in Nenagh on Sunday last. See Match Report.
The replay will take place on Sunday week, 18 November.

Sponsorship: With our Intermediate and Under 21 hurling teams still in championship action, anyone wishing to sponsor any of the teams for their remaining games can do so by contacting any committee member. All sponsorships will be acknowledged.

DVD’s: DVD’s of the North and County Finals are now available from club secretary Shane Brophy and are €20 each.

AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Lorrha GAA Club will take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Saturday, 1 December at 8.30pm. All notices and nomination forms have been issued to members and should be returned to the secretary no later than 23 November.
With the accounts also being prepared in the next couple of weeks, anyone with outstanding business with the club for the past year should contact Tina Young asap.

Auction: Our Annual Auction will take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Sunday, 9 December. More details in the coming weeks.

Best of Luck to Padraig Madden who has set off to South Africa this week as part of the Niall Mellon African Project.

Lotto: The numbers drawn on 29 October for a jackpot of €10,000 were: 4 – 6 – 11 – 29. No Winner.
The Lucky Dips were: Caroline Burke, Michael Brophy, Meelie Houlihan, Mary Fanning and John Duggan (Portumna). The Winning Promoters were: Liam Reddish, Mark Carroll and Milnes. Thank you for your continued support.
The new Lorrha lotto ticket is now on sale but all old style tickets can still be used until they run out. The new ticket contains three boxes with numbers ranging from 1 to 30. Each player can play one box for €2, two boxes for €4 or 3 boxes for €5.
You can also play the Lorrha GAA lotto online by going to www.locallotto.ie and going to the Lorrha GAA icon. The number of players playing online is growing by the week. You can register our numbers from 4 to 52 weeks and you will get a free entry depending on the number of weeks you play for.

Old Time Dancing: Our Old Time Dancing continues in the GAA Clubhouse on Friday night to the music of Paddy Blanche. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.

Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the Duggan family on the death of Mary Spillane, nee Duggan who died last week. A memorial mass will take place in Rathcabbin Church on Friday evening at 7.30pm. May she rest in peace.
