Golf Classic: We held out fundraising Golf Classic in Birr Golf Club on Friday last and in conditions that we could only have dreamed off as bright sunshine accompanied the players from early morning until the last team came in around 10pm. 43 teams took part and we would also like to thank our sponsors who contributed so generously to the event.
A special thank you to Mary Brady and Maureen Guinan who did the secretarial duties of entering the teams for the entire day and Michael Liffey who put a lot of work into organising the event. Full list of winners in next week’s notes.

Junior Hurling: Lorrha take on Roscrea in the second round of the Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship in Cloughjordan on this Sunday at 7.30pm.

Minor Hurling: Lorrha get their Minor ‘A’ Hurling Championship campaign underway this Friday with a clash with Portroe in Portroe at 8pm. Our next game is on the following Wednesday at home to Toomevara.

Under 16: The Under 16 game with Borris-Ileigh was not played on Monday evening. Check fixtures for next game.

Under 14: Lorrha play Burgess in the hurling championship on Saturday in Kilcoleman at 5pm. Check fixtures to confirm fixture.

Under 12: Lorrha v Toomevara ‘B’ in Moatfield on Friday, 27 June at 7.30pm.

Under 8’s & 10’s: Training for both age groups continues on Saturday mornings at 11am.

Tipperary: The club would like to wish Ciaran Haugh the best of luck in tonight’s Munster Minor semi-final v Clare.

Lotto: For a trial period, all those who play three panels for €5 will be entered into a separate lucky dip draw for €50, provided the draw is not won.

Old Time Dancing: Our Old Time Dancing continues on Friday night to the music of Midnight Melodies. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
