Lotto:Our jackpot has reached arecord high of €20,000. The jackpot cannot go any higher so it will remain at€20,000 until it is won. If it rolls over, the new jackpot will be rising by€150 per week. Thanks to everyonewho is supporting our lotto, which is the clubs main source of fundraising.With the jackpot currently high, the number of players is growing by the week,particularly online on www.locallotto.iewhere it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.  

 

Senior: Theseniors will play Nenagh Éire Óg in O’Riain Cup quarter final on Sunday, 22August in Borrisokane @ 6pm.

 

Junior: Thejuniors bowed out of the championship after a narrow 1-15 to 0-15 defeat toNenagh Éire Óg in Cloughjordan on Saturday evening. The defeat means we justmissed out on a quarter final spot. Thanks to the players and management fortheir efforts throughout the year.

 

U21: The U21‘A’ semi-final against Kilruane MacDonagh’s has been deferred to a later date.

 

Minor Hurling: The minor hurlers return to action on Thursday, 12 August with anaway game against Portroe. Their final group game takes place the followingThursday at home to Templederry.

 

U16: TheUnder 16s were beaten 2-12 to 1-12 by Nenagh Éire Óg in a terrific game inMoatfield on Monday last. Our final group game is against Roscrea next Mondayevening in Moatfield @ 7pm and is likely to be a crucial one of we are to makethe semi-finals.

 

U14: Hardluck to the Under 14’s who were defeated 4-8 to 0-10 by Shannon Rovers Gaels inthe North semi-final last Saturday. Thanks to the players and management fortheir hard work throughout the year. 

 

U8: Under 8 Blitz on in Moatfield on Saturday next,14th August. Hurling and Football. Games start at 11am.

 

Inter-county: Best of Luck to Patrick Maher and the Tipperary team in thisSunday’s All Ireland Hurling semi-final against Waterford at Croke Park.

 

Parish GolfOuting: This years Lorrha Parish Golf Outing takesplace in Portumna Golf Club on Saturday, 28 August. This years President isMichael Liffey while Captain is Eugene Kennedy. Time-sheet is from 9am to1pm. 

 

Old Time Dancing: Old Time Dancing continues on Friday night to the music of TRADS.Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
