Lorrha GAA News for 15 November

AGM: The date of our Annual General Meeting has been altered to Saturday, 6 December at 8.15pm in the GAA Clubhouse. Nomination and motion papers will be forwarded to all members in the coming weeks. The accounts will be prepared over the coming weeks, so any outstanding money owed to club or bills that are outstanding are to contact treasurer William Harding asap.

Tipperary: Congrats to Patrick Maher on his recent call up to the Tipperary senior panel for the 2009 season.

Sean Ghael: Congratulations to our President, Michael O’Meara (The Hill) on receiving a Cumann na Sean Ghael Award from the Tipperary County Board last weekend.

Jerseys: There are still some of the new jerseys available but stocks are running out fast so get yours as an ideal Christmas present. Polo-shirts, juvenile jackets, shorts and socks are also available while stocks last. All can be purchased from Shane Brophy.

Lotto: The numbers drawn on 4 November were: 3 – 14 – 25 – 28. No Winner.
The Lucky Dips were: Elizabeth Houlihan, Martina Houlihan, Donal O’Meara, Eoin Mannion and Pat Reddin. The Winning Promoters were: Margartet Gleeson, PJ Hogan and Eamon Maher.

All lotto draws now take place in the GAA Clubhouse. The draw takes place at 10pm and all are welcome to attend.

Old Time Dancing: Our Old Time Dancing continues in the GAA Clubhouse on Friday night to the music of Denis Doyle. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
