Intermediate: Lorrha take on Silvermines in Cloughjordan on Saturday next, 17 August at 4.30pm. A win or a draw will see Lorrha directly into the semi-finals. Good Luck to the players and mentors.
Junior A: The freak weather which arrived in the Lorrha area on Saturday evening saw our game with Roscrea postponed. It has been refixed for Moatfield on Sunday evening next at 6.30pm. Lorrha need a win to remain in the championship.
Minor Hurling: Lorrha’s minor game with Borris-Ileigh takes place in Moneygall on Wednesday (tonight) at 7pm. Lorrha are already through to the semi-finals with the result deciding whether we play Nenagh or Kilruane in the semi-final.
Under 16 Hurling: Lorrha’s Under 16 game with Nenagh Eire Og scheduled for last Monday was postponed due to the weather.
Congratulations: to both Patrick Maher and Ciaran Haugh who will be part of the Tipperary minor squad on All Ireland Final day after the four point success over Kilkenny in Croke Park on Sunday last.
Well Done: to Gary Tooher who won €200 in the weekly Tipperary GAA Draw last week.
Poker Classic: Thomas MacDonaghs Gaelic Football Club of which Lorrha are a part of are holding a fundraising Poker Classic in The Western Pass, Ardcroney on Friday, 14 September. €30 to enter and €10 buy backs.
Lotto Meeting: A meeting of all Lorrha GAA lottery sellers and draw workers will take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Wednesday, 29 August at 9pm. Anybody who wishes to become involved in the running of the lottery is also more than welcome to attend.
