Lorrha GAA News for 18 November

November 8, 2018

Under 21: Huge congratulations to our under 21 hurlers who bridged a 34 year gap to win the North Tipp 'B' Hurling final following a gritty 1-4 to 0-6 final win over Silvermines in Toomevara on Saturday. Played in very soft conditions, the game was a real battle and despite not scoring in the second half, Brian Hogan's first half goal proved to be the difference.

Lorrha now progress to the County semi-final on weekend 25-26 November where they will play Golden Kilfeacle or Cappawhite Gaels who meet in the West final next weekend.

Fundraiser: The clubs 2500-to-1 fundraising draw with a prize fund of €10,000 will go ahead on Saturday 2nd December. We are urging all club members to make one final push to get the tickets sold for what is a vital fundraiser for the club. Your support would be appreciated.

It is called neutral adaption training and includes strength and stability in the ankles, knees, hips, glutes and quads. The cost to parents is €10 for a RIPTOOL resistance band which is supplied on the night and which is kept by the juveniles to practice at home. This would be of great benefit to the boys and girls.
